The Drifter Challenge - House 007 - Rules

GAME SET UP FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN CONTINUING THE CHALLENGE
-All previously placed or built Residential and Community Lots in Oasis Springs and Willow Creek may be left, rebuilt or replaced (with the same lot type only)
All other worlds and vacation destinations may be built upon or populated however you'd like
-Evict or Move House 006 residents except The Heir, to any available Residential Lot (except Springscape in Oasis Springs)
-You are free to evict or delete any Sims except The Heir from House 006 as this Sim will be the new playable character in this house's Active Household
This Sim will be the ONLY playable character in the Active Household 

CREATING THE CONTESTANTS
Place 7 Sims into a household with The Heir from House 006 following these guidelines:
-Humanoid or Alien races only
-Must be Young Adult life stage
-Set relationship status to Roommates
*Please note that if you download your Sim, you will need to make sure that they do not have any Skills or extra Traits 

GAME SET UP FOR THOSE INTERESTED IN PLAYING JUST HOUSE 007
-Evict any Sims who are living on the Oakenstead Lot in Willow Creek
-Demolish the Oakenstead Lot in Willow Creek
-Check that the Oakenstead Lot in Willow Creek is set to Residential
-Build A Mansion/House on the Oakenstead Lot in Willow Creek containing a total of 8 beds (at least 1 of them needs to be a double)
-Evict any Sims who are living on the Springscape Lot in Oasis Springs
-Demolish the Springscape Lot in Willow Creek
-Check that the Springscape Lot in Willow Creek is set to Residential
-Place at least one Restaurant Lot in one of the worlds (If you own Dine Out)
-You are free to evict or delete any Sims
All other worlds and vacation destinations may be built upon or populated however you'd like

MAKING YOUR DRIFTER
Create or Download a Sim with the following guidelines:
-Humanoid or Alien races only
-Must be Young Adult life stage
*Please note that if you download your Sim, you will need to make sure that they do not have any Skills or extra Traits 
This Sim will be the ONLY playable character in the Active Household

CREATING THE CONTESTANTS
Place 7 additional Sims into a household with your Drifter following these guidelines:
-Humanoid or Alien races only
-Must be Young Adult life stage
-Set relationship status to Roommates
*Please note that if you download your Sim, you will need to make sure that they do not have any Skills or extra Traits

REQUIRED GAME OPTIONS SETTINGS
Under Gameplay tab in the Game Options menu you will need to select the following:
-Autonomy - Full
-Fill Empty Home - No
-Auto Age (Played Sims) - No
-Show Whims - Yes
All other options are your choice (seasons, get famous etc.)

WHERE TO START AND LAST MINUTE PREPARATIONS
-Move your 8 Sims into the Oakenstead Residential Lot in Willow Creek
-Unlimited Household funds so have fun modifying Oakenstead (bed count must stay 8)
-Have you Main Sim quit their job if the have one (they must remain Unemployed during Part 1)
-Save your game and then make a backup save as well
The 1st Game Save file will act as the Main Save which you will play, and The 2nd Game Save file, will act as a backup of the Main Save.
*It's highly recommended that you make these separate game save files so that if you are unsatisfied with how things turn out or you do not complete the requirements in the allotted time, you will have the option to redo this House Mini-Challenge without losing all prior world progress

MAIN GOALS OF HOUSE 007 PART 1
1.  Conduct a Bachelor/Bachelorette style Elimination Competition using the structured days and rules (Please see Elimination Competition below)
*The Contestant who wins this Elimination Competition will join the Main Sim in Part 2

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This FREE PLAY time is not intended for the Playable Sim to gain Skills etc. there will be plenty of time for that in Part 2.  Mix and mingle as much as possible with the Contestants in the Active Household, your Sim is looking for LOVE!

ANY and all possible (allowed) Whims between the Playable Sim and the Contestants must be pinned and carried out as soon as possible, regardless of who might be in attendance.  If a Whim is not available you may choose to try advancing the relationship until the option is available, or you may choose to dismiss the Whim and move on.  The following Whims are not allowed and should be dismissed:
-Ask On Date
-Ask to be Boyfriend/Girlfriend
-Propose To
-Getting Married To
-WooHoo For Baby With

If a Contestant should die, they are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition

WHAT IS CONSIDERED A HOUSE CHALLENGE FAIL
-If the Playable Sim should die

WHERE AND WHEN YOU CAN TRAVEL
-There are no restrictions on the Lots can you visit
-Travel is only allowed during dates/outings

ADDING SIMS TO THE ACTIVE HOUSEHOLD
The Active Household should be comprised of the Main Playable Sim and a maximum of 7 Contestant Sims.  No other sims are allowed to join the Active Household

SOME THINGS NOT ALLOWED
-Control any Sims other than the Main Sim (unless instructed to do so)
*You may never direct the non-playable Sims to interact with objects (unless instructed to do so)
*Any options available through their portrait in the bottom left hand corner is ok to use, and you may open their personal inventory to add or remove items
-Make adoptions for the Active Household
-Attend Club Gatherings
-Attend Parties not hosted by your Main Sim
-Wish For Romance via the Whispering Wishing Well
-Wish For Child via the Whispering Wishing Well
-Host Club Gatherings on the Active Home Lot
-Designate the Active Home Lot as a Club Hangout destination
-Have any of your playable Sims be/become a Vampire
-Create or choose a new playable Sim should your Main Sim die

ADDITIONAL INFO
-You may set Season lengths and create Holidays
-The use of any Mods or Custom Content is at your discretion

THE ELIMINATION COMPETITION
*DAY 1*
-Mix and mingle with everyone
-Try and perform at least 1 Flirty Interaction with each Contestant

*DAY 2*
-Host a party (any type, any location)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who has the highest relationship status towards the Main Sim
-Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
There should now be a total of 6 Contestants remaining

*DAY 3*
-Purchase 6 easels and conduct a Painting Challenge at 7:00am
-Instruct all Contestants to paint the same size and type of painting, the two Contestants who have the highest valued paintings are the winners and have earned a special event with the Main Sim
If any Contestant should stop painting before the painting is completed, it's treated as a painting worth $0 Simoleons
-Take the group of 4 Contestants who did NOT win the Painting Competition, on an outing (any location)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who has the highest relationship status towards the Main Sim
-Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
There should now be a total of 5 Contestants remaining

*DAY 4*
-Take the 2 Contestants who won the Painting Competition, on an outing (any location)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who has the highest relationship status towards the Main Sim
-Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
There should now be a total of 4 Contestants remaining

*DAY 5*
-Conduct a Fishing Challenge at 7:00am
-Instruct all Contestants to Fish at any Fishing Spot
-At 9:00am cancel all Fishing Interactions, the Contestant who has caught the most fish (or the highest Simoleon amount of fish) is the winner and has earned a special event with the Main Sim
-Ask the Contestant who won the Fishing Competition on a date (if option is available).  If Ask On Date is not available just go on an outing (any location)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who went on the date/outing today
There should now be a total of 4 Contestants remaining - none were eliminated today

*DAY 6*
-Take the group of 3 Contestants who did NOT win the Fishing Competition, on an outing (any location)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who has the highest relationship status towards the Main Sim
-Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
There should now be a total of 3 Contestants remaining

*DAY 7, 8 and 9*
-Each remaining Contestant shall have a one on one date/outing with the Main Sim (one Contestant per day)
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who went on the date/outing that day
There should now be a total of 3 Contestants remaining - none are eliminated

*DAY 10*
-Enjoy a laid back day at the Mansion/House
-At 11:00pm perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Contestant who has the highest relationship status towards the Main Sim
-Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
There should now be a total of 2 Contestants remaining

*DAY 11*
-Host a party (any type, at the Active Home Lot)
-At the end of the party: Evict, Delete or otherwise Remove the Contestant with the lowest relationship score.  They are no longer eligible to participate in the Elimination Competition
- Perform the Offer A Rose Interaction (or other Flirty Interaction if it's not available) to the Final Contestant, Ask To Be Boyfriend/Girlfriend, and then Propose!
Stop game play, save and proceed to Part 2

HOUSE 007 PART 2 - AFTER THE ROSE

REQUIRED GAME OPTIONS SETTINGS
Under Gameplay tab in the Game Options menu you will need to select the following:
-Autonomy - Full
-Auto Age (Played Sims) - Yes
-Sim Lifespan - Normal
All other options are your choice (seasons, get famous etc.)

WHERE TO START AND LAST MINUTE PREPARATIONS
-Move your Sim and the winner of the Elimination Competition onto the Springscape Residential Lot in Oasis Springs
-Sell or Delete any belongings that the Sims have brought along in their inventories
*If you choose to keep any items, you must deduct the cost of the object(s) from the Active Household Funds before ANY other object(s) are allowed to be purchased
-Drop the Drifter's Household Funds to $0 Simoleons (testingcheats on + Money 0 cheat)
-Replace the residents from House 006 back onto the Oakenstead Residential Lot in Willow Creek
-Save your game and then make a backup save as well
The 1st Game Save file will act as the Main Save which you will play, and The 2nd Game Save file, will act as a backup of the Main Save.
*It's highly recommended that you make these separate game save files so that if you are unsatisfied with how things turn out or you do not complete the requirements in the allotted time, you will have the option to redo this House Mini-Challenge without losing all prior world progress

MAIN GOALS OF HOUSE 007 PART 2
1.  Create a 2 Bedroom, 1 Bathroom home worth at least $40k Simoleons
These requirements are just the minimums, so feel free to add more your house
*A Room consists of at least 4 walls, a door, textured flooring and wall coverings.  

2.  Complete the Soul Mate Aspiration

3.  Produce and raise an Heir to the Young Adult life stage
When The Heir reaches the Young Adult stage, you must stop game play if you are continuing on to House 008


ALL ABOUT THE HEIR
The Heir is the firstborn humanoid or alien baby made through the WooHoo For Baby command with the Main Sim and another Sim who is already part of the Active Household.
-You may pick the Traits and the Aspiration of The Heir
-The Heir is considered a non-playable Sim
*You may never direct The Heir to interact with objects or others unless it's to Age Up allowed ONLY on their birthday 
*Any options available through their portrait in the bottom left hand corner is ok to use, and you may open their personal inventory to add or remove items

WHAT IS CONSIDERED A HOUSE CHALLENGE FAIL
-If any Main Goal was not reached prior to the Heir reaching Young Adult life stage
-If The Heir dies or is otherwise removed from the Active Household

WHERE AND WHEN YOU CAN TRAVEL
There MUST be at least $1k Simoleons in Household Funds ANY time you wish to visit the following locations:
-Restaurants that have been placed in any of the worlds
-Parks that have been placed in any of the worlds
-The Grotto
-Nightclubs that have been placed in any of the worlds 
-Vacation destinations (you must bring all Active Household members)
*Selvadorada is a gorgeous destination, but digging up relics and/or traipsing around the jungle can yield top dollar goodies in a few in game hours, so is definitely not recommended due to the nature of the challenge
-The Bluffs, The Ruins and The Von Haunt Estate in Windenburg (the Active Household MUST BE asked to attend)
-Festival or Holiday Event Locations (the Active Household MUST BE asked to attend)
-Club or Party locations the Household Sims are asked to attend or that they host

The following locations DO NOT have a $1k Simoleon requirement to visit:
-Retail Lots that the Active Household owns
-Vet Clinics that have been placed in any of the worlds
-The Hospital
-The Police Station
-The Science Station
-Sixam
-Lots required for work (at home) jobs like the Critic career
-Lots needed to complete Aspirations
*NOT intended for skill building or resource gathering, but just for the required updates
-Revisiting The Final Resting Place of any Sims who have passed away so you can strengthen ties or release their spirits

ADDING SIMS TO THE ACTIVE HOUSEHOLD
All Sims that join the Active Household MUST be added using the Move In interaction
Does not include the following:
-Adoption
-Whispering Wishing Well acquired Sims
-Created Clones
If a Sim you are inviting to Move In has other Household Members, you may choose to split their Household or move any number of them in (within the game constraints).  If you are choosing to Move In the entire Household, you MUST check mark "Sell All Lot Furnishings" (if this option is available) before the Move In process is complete.
Any Simoleons that are brought when a Sim joins the Active Household, MUST be deleted immediately.  Household funds MUST be reset to the amount prior to the Sim(s) joining the Active Household.
Any items brought in the Personal Inventory or Family Inventory when a Sim joins the Active Household,  may be kept or sold for Simoleons

ADDING SIMS TO THE ACTIVE HOUSEHOLD

-You may choose the Traits and Aspirations of any Sims in the Active Household when prompted to do so (after Age Up)
-Any Playable Sim in the Active Household may purchase and manage any Retail Lot, Restaurant or Vet Clinic
-Any puppies or kittens born may be sold
-The Active Household may Create or Join Clubs at any time
-You may set Season lengths and create Holidays
-The use of any Mods or Custom Content is at your discretion
